USA EPIDEMIC CORONAVIRUS COVID-19

The Grand Princess cruise ship, top, some of whose crew members and passengers have tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) floats outside the Golden Gate as another tanker ship sails by in San Francisco, California, USA, 09 March 2020. The ship will dock at the Port of Oakland where some they will disembark and transported, and and flown to either, Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California, Marina Corps Air Station Miramar, North of San Diego, California, and Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. The Port of Oakland was chosen because it’s a commercial port large enough and remote enough to allow the 3,500 passenger and crew members to get off the ship. The Grand Princess cruise ship is linked to California’s first death from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), and other individuals who have tested positive who traveled on the same roundtrip cruise from San Francisco to Mexico last month.
